Dori’s true love of fitness began when he was in high school and transitioned from defense to midfield while on the lacrosse team. This switch of positions meant a lot more running. So Dori would stay after practice and run extra sprints and head to the gym to workout after practice everyday. During this time, he lost over 60 pounds and found a love for fitness and nutrition!
Dori first walked into a CrossFit gym when he was studying abroad in the Netherlands. Ever since that day he has been addicted to CrossFit! When he walked into the gym he had only been in the Netherlands for one day and instantly was welcomed as a part of the family. That semester abroad was the best semester of his undergraduate career at Muhlenberg College. He spent his time surrounded by new and interesting friends who contributed to his passion and love of CrossFit. He not only learned how to workout correctly, but he found a community that became a family.
Now, Dori is helping others find their own love for finding a healthy balance in their lives! Dori believes that every person can find a way to live a healthy life and that CrossFit is the best key to finding that successful path. Outside of the gym, Dori enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, and playing sports. He has been a camp counselor for many years and loves spending his summers up in the Poconos running around all day with his campers who have just as much energy as he does! He has also had the privilege of traveling to places like Iceland (3rd picture), the country of Georgia (4th picture), and backpacking all over Europe.
